Points liability

Points liability is the monetary value of loyalty points that have been issued to customers but not yet redeemed or expired.

Liability = Outstanding points × Value per point. It is a real obligation, so it belongs in your monthly reporting rather than in a spreadsheet nobody opens.

Controls that keep liability sane: an expiry policy, a cap on redemption per bill, and an immutable ledger so every point issued and burned is traceable to a bill.

Track this without a spreadsheet

OrdrPro Loyalty identifies customers at billing, so metrics like this update on their own — with or without our POS.
