Repeat customer rate

Repeat customer rate is the percentage of identified customers who made more than one purchase within a defined window, such as 30, 60 or 90 days.

Formula: Repeat rate % = (Customers with 2 or more purchases ÷ Total unique customers) × 100 for the same window.

You can only measure this if customers are identified at billing — through a mobile number, QR enrolment or a loyalty ID. Anonymous cash bills make repeat rate unknowable.

The single biggest jump usually comes from converting first-time visitors into second visits, which is why second-visit conversion is worth tracking as its own metric.

Track this without a spreadsheet

OrdrPro Loyalty identifies customers at billing, so metrics like this update on their own — with or without our POS.
