DSR (Daily Sales Report)
A DSR, or Daily Sales Report, is the daily summary of every outlet's sales — gross and net revenue, tax, discounts, payment modes, voids and cash handed over per shift.
A DSR is how owners spot problems within 24 hours rather than at month end: an unusual spike in discounts, a cash shortfall on one shift, or a payment mode that does not reconcile.
Add loyalty data to the DSR and it also answers the more useful question: how much of today's revenue came from returning, identified customers versus anonymous walk-ins.
